UT proved more in a loss...

A&M will get blown out by Bama. UT may have had no business being in that game but they also should have won by double digits.

Bama wont turn the ball over and get a crap load of yards themselves and won't let a spotty Knight and avg OL get the better of their healthy front 7.

And I say all that painfully.

We should have won this fu***ng game. Self destructed with all those turnovers

On another note, it is nice to see Oregon going back to being irrelevant

"This team hasn’t just been decimated by injuries this year, they’ve been engulfed by them."

This qutoe says it all.

Proud of our guys for stepping up and not getting down. Especially Foreman. He made some bonehead plays, but he didn't quit, and he gave us a chance to win the game. Proud of them all.

Gotta learn from these destructive tendencies, though!

Duh, losses aren't good. All of you drones saying that "there are no good losses" please shut up. For real.

In life everything is not black and white. If you can't find any good in bad situations, or vice versa, then I seriously question your intelligence. There are plenty of things to be proud of in this loss and there are plenty of things to correct from our wins

As I read through a couple of posts in some other threads on here, a handful of posters displayed their dismay at team 120 in general and Coach Jones in particular. What a pathetic flock of wheezing losers. Here's to a rare group of young men and their coaches who've shown the sports world what champions are made of. If there's one team in cfb today that would be the consensus receiver of any and all courage awards, it's this 120 bunch. It's the heart of the season, UT's 5-1 and STILL positioned to win the SECe. If these guys can eliminate some of those turnovers...focus properly for 4 quarters, then bama will be facing tAMu with a loss on their record, opening up the possibility for winding up playing a revenge game against them in Atlanta. I'll take that or bammer or whoever else wins the SECw.

i dnf give a mother f about courage award. nor does any one else. Courage doesnt make the win count go up. We lost today... lost, nothing good at all came out of today. Actually the worst possible outcome for the day happend.... we lost. Courage awards, moral awards, whatever else... dont mean ****

These kids play hard and Give Their All for Tennessee. You can't argue against that. There is definitely no quit in this team.

No, losses are not good. But I think the way that article put it was spot on: Tennessee proved more in this loss than in their wins up to this point. Our season goals are still before us, and I think this team is capable of stepping up and grabbing them.

I don't know about that one!

The dismantling of Florida was pretty impressive! I guess to outsiders they just thought it was Florida's fault!

It's Bama week! Time to bring the big boy pants!

GBO!

They proved they can play with anyone, they don't quit, and they finally put 4 quarters of ball together. It was nice to see.

You impressed alot of Aggies yesterday, heard several compliments for the team and fanbase that came to Kyle Field. I feel sorry for the team that gets a four quarter game from you guys, beat Bama!

If that was 4 quarters of ball, then I must of missed a bunch. Once again they dug themselves a hole and spent the 2nd half trying to climb out

I disagree with this narrative. Yes the ball has bounced our way quite a bit, but those come from behind wins were grit and determination more than anything. This week it wasn't that our luck ran out, it was that the grit and determination was just barely not enough to overcome mistakes made.

Our guys have never quit and without that can't even enter the equation. All this luck talk is just a way to slight the Vols. The sports media has been drooling for us to lose one so they can harp on the luck ran out narrative. Yes ESPN hates us and yes they can all go to hell.

Hmmm...so posthumous medals of honor "don't mean ****"?

The way I see it, "courage" and "heart" are words that only matter when you are facing long odds and severe adversity.

We played a marginally more talented team, in their house, to double overtime, while making enough mistakes to bury almost any other team in the country.

Talent matters (advantage Aggies), home field advantage matters (advantage Aggies), and not to mention a margin of plus 2 turnovers can be predictive in any game (advantage Aggies) but we gave them a margin of what, plus 5!!! and were still toe-to-toe at the end of regulation and one and a half extra innings.

Posts like this remind me of a quote from Issac Asimov that I find particularly relevant in this social media age.

"The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that “my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”"
