There were about 30 UT football players at Knoxville Catholic Friday night to watch the game vs. Rhea County. The guys came out to watch the "battle between little Revis (who plays OL/DL for Rhea County) and little Wegzyn" (who plays QB for Catholic). They were also there to support their future teammate, Kyler Kerbyson, It was great to see them out supporting high school football in Knoxville!

Thanks. Great Friday night fun, HS football. Good to see those guys get out. Bet Kyler enjoyed seeing them there.

The irony. They're at the game instead of being at Bar Knox, so now the AA issues are at play.

Too many rules.
As long as they paid for there ticket there shouldn't be a problem in attending a HS game I wouldn't think.

Two of the current player's brothers were playing in that game. I don't really see how the aa would get involved unless they had hostesses with them holding signs for kk.

Much better news of them going to a Friday night HS football game rather then going to a bar or visiting the Pilot gas station :)

30 may have been a stretch. Most of the O line was there with some others. Co
Talked with Revis (being a Rhea Co. grad.) He stated that the new Oline coach wants unity with the Oline and wants them to be together as much as possible, so they all piled up and went to the game.
Also Hood was a Catholic grad. so three lineman had ties to the game. fwiw

I am not aware of players being restricted from contact with high school players. I thought that rule only applied to coaches and staff.

Is Revis going to be a Scott Wells or Michael Frogg? Never heard about how he is developing?
