UT Plane(merged)

Let's not focus on the new coach and on the two games remaining? Huh? Both are very important. Will be in TX for the Vandy game and then Louisiana for the KY game. Can't wait to drink beer and eat turkey with the family.

I found this on a website: Cowher09.com

Now retired, “The Chin” is enjoying learning piano and relaxing down in North Carolina. We can all appreciate this blissful walk into the sunset. However, Cowher has said on several occasions that he still has a strong itch to coach again. His youngest daughter will be leaving for college next fall and he will have an empty nest. Restlessness will set in. If you don’t think the headstrong, psychopathic, adrenalin filled man’s man is dreaming about coming back, then you my friend are crazy.

Interesting............wonder how far from Raleigh he lives???

The Cowhers have placed their Raleigh, North Carolina home on the market, with the intention of building a new house two miles away.

Hmmm...

Cowher lives in Raleigh...but I can't match up Oak Trees and KS...
Raleigh, NC ( where I live) is the City of Oaks and Bill's wife is Kaye and ummm wellllllll hummmmmmmm....he coached at the Steelers??? That seals it.
I have seen a few posts about Flying into RDU and Jim Grobe at Wake Forest.... Just an FYI Wake Forest is in Winston Salem about 1.5 hours away and they have a big airport.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher said in Knoxville Friday that he considered Phillip Fulmer for his staff when he was first hired.

It was 1992 just as Fulmer was promoted to head coach at Tennessee.

Winston Salem has an airport. Calling it a "big" airport is just hilarious.

I'll bet they are holding out for lifetime passes to the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.

I would be absolutely ECSTATIC if Bill Cowher becomes our new head coach. I consider him the #1 option - better than Gruden or anyone else. However, I highly doubt that it will happen.

Well, his name has stayed quite and in the background. Not even being mentioned these days.

Well you got me there... It is international... I think they fly to Bermuda once a week:eek:k: RDU and MT aren't exactly Laguardia or De Gault either though...

Just shared the "clues" with a former employer who has had season tickets for years and has close ties with the University. I have come to trust this man deeply. I gave him the clues, and my guess. He just chuckled and said wait and see and promised I wouldn't be disappointed. He also told me to check the University sports calendar and it would help me with the answer as well.

Is the new coach already scheduled to speak at a coach's clinic in March?
