Who will have more wins in their first season as head coach in the sec Kiffin at UT or Leach at Auburn?

Leach at Auburn will be like Rodriguez at Michigan. Their first year will be a bad transition. Auburn dosen't have the speed Leach needs on Offense.

i seriously would doubt they would go after leach... they failed once at the spread, why make it twice?

and if you think about it, and read everyones posts on here... who ever auburn hires will win more.. kiffins too inexperienced after all:horse:

That's a very interesting choice for a user name, 151. Are you on coated or uncoated stock? :p

Not sure if ironic is the right word, but Tubby tried the spread, it failed (badly) and now they want to interview a coach who runs the spread to replace him. Go figure?

I would have to think tennessee would. Whether you wanted kiffin or not, he was sort of the only really available name out there. I would think with the whole "jet gate" scandal and the overall atmosphere at Auburn, that they would not be able to land a coach that can turn it around in one year. On the other hand, I don't think Auburn has as much of a turn around to make.

actually i think the opposite. Auburn will still have some great defensive players and leach will score with ANY team. He's that good an offensive mind. The problem will be when he has to bring in and recruit and develop his own defensive players.

Auburn and TN were the same team this year.

they'll be the same team next year.

I woultn't expect too much from either of them........

UT should have more wins...only if kiffin brings in a offensive coord. the play calling sucked this past year

TTU is working up a big offer to keep Leach! I wouldnt be surprised if Muschamp jumped ship at Texas and took this postion! I think names like Jimbo Fisher, Todd Graham, and Charlie Strong could get thrown in there also!

Schedule-wise Tennessee has an advantage over Auburn next season, which could help us have the better record.

Our big non-conf games are against UCLA (4-7), Ohio (4-8) and Memphis (6-6); but Auburn gets West Virginia (7-4), Ball State (12-0) and Southern Miss (6-6).

In the conference we play Auburn at home next season; and our 3 toughest games at Florida, Georgia and at Alabama; is pretty comprable to Auburn at LSU, at Georgia and Alabama.

Recruits are bailing, but I don't know how much that would determine next years record. It depends on the coach more than this years class for season 2009.

Hopefully, Kiffin's calling all the AU commitments that UT might be interested in.
