The only way Im "happy" with a 14 point win is if we shut them out and its 14-0 win.

Of course if we win by 1 Ill take it. I just want UT to pound peoples guts out this year. Chalk it up to a lot of pent up pain/anger from last year.

I think 9-14 points is about right though.

Too early for us to start picking points, I just want a victory, I dont think the program is back to where we can pick wins and the points for the win. Needless to say I hope everyone is right with how many we win by, after last year though, Im going in expecting everything to be close.

i dont see this a bad prediction imo i mean ucla only scored 3 offence td's against San Diego St. and 2 were rushing the ball 1 passing and 1 on a block fg return and ucla pass game if bad iffy so i can see a 42 point win if we play a damn good game

To be honest, I really don't know how good/bad UCLA is this year. Does anyone have a scouting report on them? But if we win by more than 4 TDs (which I think is highly unlikely), it would make a huge statement before the UF game.

I'll be happy with just a win in this one. I think if we can execute like we did the other day and cut down on turnovers, we can win by 3 TDs or a few points more. I'm going with a 27-10 win for the Vols.

CLK right out the gate painted FL as his target. He is gonna make a statement. What we saw sat, i think is the tip of the iceberg on our gameplan.

Lets not get carried away. Crompton aint going to be throwing 5 TDs every damn game. However, a kick ass defense and a solid running game can go a long way. I predict us getting a late TD to put the game away in the 4th quarter for a 21-24 pt win, which is what it should have been last year.

I think people are getting to over confident too soon. UCLA won't be a pushover. We thought they would be last year and that didn't work out so good. Obviously this is a new year and a new staff, but there are very few teams I'd predict we'd beat by 6 TD's at this point and UCLA isn't one of them. After this game is played then I would feel a lot more comfortable predicting how our other games turn out.

this should be a run first, run second and run third kinda game. UT is better up front(on both sides) and should impose their will. I say this game stays close, and should wear them down the second half of the second quarter, then again in the fourth.

Let's just hope we win, period. I am shocked at how a victory over Western Kentucky has everybody in the clouds. I like what I saw, but UCLA is on the upswing as well. A win by any margin would be great.
