UT Official in question

Who cares, as long as he didn't sit with them during the "alleged rapes".

Police agreed to this concession, it totally falls on them if there was any wrongdoing which there shouldn't be unless he acted in a manner that disrupted the investigation/interview...which again, if they let it happen, would be more negligence on the police than a wrongdoing by the University of Tennessee.

It's about time! Can he still pursue football in the league after this? IF cleared

I would think that he can, but the hill would be steep. He would need to either get the NFL front office to grant him a waiver on a missed combine invite or try to fit into a school's pro day.

I just don't see how he gets either with the regime change at UT.

I think last option would be try to do something noteworthy in the Canadian League.

The defense was not allowed to present esculpatory (sp) social media evidence is the reason for the delay, from what I understand. Hope that has been worked out.

I just hope justice is served, however it is decided.

IF I have followed this story correctly, it took a long time to get the judicial ruling on the social media to be accepted and used in this case. Then after that ruling was made (that it could be used), I started seeing tidbits of the story changing on the rape claims. Hopefully whatever the truth is, that it all comes out in court.

I wouldn't think it's a good sign for the defendants that the alleged victim has decided to testify. She'll be mauled by the defense attorneys about getting rid of the cell phones. Yet she decided to take the witness stand despite that the player's lawyers will be tearing into her.

Says a lot actually. Kinda worries me though I do think he's innocent

The case the State seems to be arguing is that the alleged victim had consensual sex with Johnson before the night in question, and was in the process of doing so that evening. When Williams got spurned by the accuser's friend (whom he pretty much assaulted), he joined in on the victim. She did not consent to a threesome.

It's early, but I think that's the case being made.
