Same thing happened with Auburn (Lowder) and Bama (Bryant, Jr.).
I think the Haslam ties/access needs to be severed, at least to a degree. I'm sensitive to the fact that one is governor. I don't envy the ones that need to (IMO) have that discussion.
How in the world are we letting this one family dictate how the football program is run?

How do we know who is running what? Its all hear say. Everything from Gruden to Schiano to Tee and Cutcliffe. Nothing has been said from anyone on any side.
That fact is we know absolutely nothing!!!!As soon as everyone agrees to that we might get somewhere.
Just hope people put their money where their mouth is and make up for the loss in contributions from the seven figure donors.
The one constant in this recent string of buffoonery in our athletic department, is the Haslams and their influence. You don't have to look very far to hear that from MULTIPLE sources. Hell, as I type Ainge is talking about it on WNML.....(flame away for what you guys think he knows).
I would love to see how we could do without them.
