Interesting because I've seen us ranked overrated in terms of preseason polls. This was espeically true during the tail end of the Fulmer years and Butch era. So basically, we get ranked high, play one of the most brutal schedules year in and year out, then finish underranked.

I don't understand why we play difficult out of conference games every year. We have to play UF, UGA, BAMA, and usually Auburn or LSU. Typically within a 5 or 6 game stretch. Maybe the money is nice but as you see it ends with our teams being consistently undervalued.

And one of their points for Florida being underrated, they point to 2003 whenever they were 8-5 and ranked behind 10-3 and 10-2 teams. They state that all 5 losses came against AP top 15 teams and they beat #2 and #7. Big whoop, not so long ago we had a season in which all of our losses were something like a combined 25 points and two losses were to playoff teams. The objective of the game is to win. If you don’t win, you don’t get to complain about where you are ranked.
