KB is well-qualified for the job. The issue isn't his ability to do the job, but our ability to convince him to come to UT over potentially better opportunities. He's good enough to be our HC someday.

Put it this way. If we hired Hatcher, would it be wise fo KB to consider the HC job at GA Southern that would be vacated... or the OC job with the Lions? I'm fairly sure it's the later.

I'm fairly sure no one has called Phil Fulmer an idiot for considering Kippy Brown. Show me one comment that hasn't been fair to Kippy. I merely stated I want Phil to do a thorough search before making a hire, not just hire Kippy. He did the same thing in 2005 and it didn't really work out very well for us.

Good luck to Kippy Brown as OC of the Detroit Lions. We need a guy who can design and scheme for today's college game. The pro-style is dead unless you have NFL talent up and down the roster.

The only logical explanation I can come up with is that Lions are doing this strictly to disrupt UT football.

my aunt has a friend who knows a guy who lives next door to a lady that works with someone who knows a real estate agent in Knoxville...and she said that Mike Martz is looking at houses in the area.

I'm not sure that the teams without talent are going to win no matter what offense they run. Can you think of a spread option team that lacks talent but wins because of their offense?

...and I agree about Jim Grobe. He gets dismissed because he's at Wake, but they guy can coach.

That would include the entire set of college football teams as none are on par with NFL teams.
