With the young talent we have if we don't make it to a BCS game or 2 with this group, them Fulmer is the worst coach this decade. We are so loaded and young. If he can't produce with them he can't do it with anybody anymore.

If we don't win the SEC Championship next year, it will be a decade of failure, and Fulmer shouldn't be allowed another 2 years.

UT has the talent to win big next year---Fulmer better get it together and win the big games.

I have to agree. We are loaded with young talent. Fulmer must produce with these players.

I just don't see this as being that talented of a team going forward. Last year was a great class. 2006 was not so hot by UTK standards and the 2007 class is not shaping up to be all that great either. I expect the Vols to be out-talented for the next couple of years by UGA and UF. Doesn't mean UTK cannot beat them, but the Vols are far removed from having a raw talent edge against the upper echelon of the SEC.

i disagree about the talent. If we had a DL, people would definitely fear us next season, new QB or not.

I think it comes down to the OC hire and whether Fulmer hires new blood or the same ol some ol.

We'll never get to the next level until the kicking game is totally and completely corrected. It almost rose its ugly head again yesterday.

I agree that UT has got some good players, particularly on defense but what about the QB and WR issues? Seems to me as an outsider that Ainge was the single most critical component of your success this year and that there are serious question marks about next year at that posiiton in particular.

5* AA QB on deck.

WR's were totally different as season unfolded. Lots of young talent there.

The Dline is our issue.

Wish we have some of those big Michigan boys?

I see us as having some good talent, but loaded is a stretch. We have no idea on what we'll get out of qb, we still have our running game stuffed every third or fourth game, and we still get burned through the air. I would consider florida and georgia loaded with talent, not us.

See the above quotes for the QB issue. I understand you've got good recruits there and talented players that you think will develop well. But until they actually lead the team as the starter, how do you know what their skills are? I mean, wasn't everyone asking that same question about Tebow this year -- how would he respond as leader?

I know he responded great, and perhaps your guy will, too. I have no idea. Just saying I don't see how you can assume it to be the case.
