The team got their MC bowl rings - looks pretty sweet!!!

Edit: I put this picture us because I thought it looked cool. Any true fan would be thrilled to own one.

It's too bad many Vol fans here can't enjoy what is a small reward for the players (who worked their tails off over the course of a long grueling year), for the success they were able to achieve.

It's a nice keepsake for the players, I guess. When I think of a ring I think championship. To me, this is a little too close to a participation trophy.

Every bowl gives out rings to the winner. Its not a new thing. The players will remember it forever don't downplay this as a participation trophy. They bust their a$$ all year so we can drink beer and watch on Saturday.

This, it's like everyone throwing a sh!t fit over the battle at bristol rings. That was a one time special thing, why not have a keep sake from that

I don't have a problem with the rings, I just wouldn't put that much importance on them.

They're just rings for winning a bowl game. It's really not that big of a deal and I don't understand why we have fans complaining about it?

It's not a participation trophy, but it's closer to that than it is to a championship ring. It's okay, I guess, but still kind of weird -- even if all the bowls are doing it.

This impacts you how? Its interesting how someone is a fan but laughs when his so called team is recognized. They worked hard and got to a bowl and won the game. It may not be the bowl they wanted but they put in the effort all year.
