Freeze's offense is a fast reaction offense, which doesn't fit JG well as he is today. Great changes in his thought process would have to be made. So I say its anyone's position to take
Nothing wrong with playing the "what if" game. All recruits are "what if" until NSD, doesn't diminish the interest.
My point being that if Bailey does indeed honor his commitment , then I would expect Shrout or Maurer to leave. And since Shrout was a pull by Helton, supposedly, then I would not be surprised if he were to leave this spring and not wait since there is a good chance he is stuck behind JG next year, then Maurer the following year.
I don’t think it is a given that JG starts the next two years. He has a lot of work to do. If one of the youngsters impresses the coaches and shows the ability to put points on the board and be a leader, I think they take the chance with him. That said minus a functioning OL it won’t matter who is slinging the ball.
