UT Football is what keeps me going in the fall. Anytime we lose it is a bad day especially when it's to a team like Florida or Alabama. That's what makes this game great. The passion the players, coaches and fans have towards it. We have had our share of wins against most teams in the country. Here is one thing that I know for sure. Tennessee is not going to go undefeated and win the National Championship every year. No team in the country is. How many dynasties have their been? When's the last time Notre Dame won a NC? When was Bama's last, Florida's last? I am aware of USC but their streak came to an end last year and Texas has already lost this year. We were 5-6 last year and other than not being able to run the ball tonight i think we played pretty well. I've seen some of the comments of fans upset with coaching and officials calls, but every time there is a loss these are going to be factors. Tonight we lost to a team that executed their scheme better than we did. I'm still optomistic about this season and think this is going to be a good year.
We lost tonight, no excuses even though i can't stand the Gators and have to live with them here in Florida. I see much improvment from last year to this years team and I will be cheering hard next week. Even though it sucks losing to the Gators, we will have big wins this year and I'm looking forward to pulling for the Vols. You can let this one stick in your craw til next year if ya want or we can move on and get ready for next week.

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree. Lot of football left in this season. I think they will be a much better team when we play, barring further injuries.

I saw a lot of really good things happening, and I saw some not so good things happening, but I only saw a couple of really bad things going on. That is SO much better than last year, mainly with the attitude of the team. Yes, mental mistakes occur, but they are coming fewer and farther between.

We need to have the non-starters on the D side of the ball "step-up" and be counted when their name is called, and the O line MUST be able to keep Ainge safe at all times. We really do need to get more of a running game going, as if we didn't all know that, but we are a pretty good ball club, and I like the looks of the rest of the year, if we can keep people healthy.

Run the SEC table from here on out and we will most likely be in the SEC Championship game. LSU is the toughest test but all other games we should be favored...

We need someone to step up and play safety. Demetrice Morley needs to switch positions or something. He did not look good at all. We need Antwan Stewart to move back and maybe try Morley at cornerback, where he can hopefully be OK in man coverage.

I wonder...on that last extra point did they put Stanley Asumnu in? If we ever needed a PAT blocked, that was the time.

I actually saw Stanley on the sideline tonight. I finally got to say, 'Hey Dad, there's that jacked-up basketball player!'

I don't THINK he has seen the field during a game... but those kicks were on the other end of the field from me.
