If you could only see 1 more championship in your lifetime, would you rather it be UT Football winning another National Championship or UT Basketball winning their first National Championship?

Id rather see our football team win

I've seen a football championship in my lifetime. I've waited ALL my life to see UT basketball get to this point.

so who is "our" football team?

I know mine is UT, but you seem to want BYU to win the championship.

So because I have BYU in my avy means Im a BYU fan rather than Vol fan?

:eek:lol::eek:lol:

There my pick to reach the BCS Championship:good!: so yeah im rooting for them to go against the odds next season.

I'll remove the avy once they lose their first game

I'm greedy, no reason both can't happen. Plus I'm not choosing since they are all playing for UT

I chose football but it was really close. It would be awesome to see UT as a national champion in men's basketball for the first time.

I want BOTH multiple times!!!

But if I had to pick I would pick football just because UT football is an age old family tradition and runs deep into my blood.

If it wasn't for Tennessee football then I would NOT be a Tennessee basketball fan, thats just the truth.

I voted football but I'd love to see it in basketball. I can't kid myself, though. Football is the greatest sport on the planet!!!

Basketball every day.

Why you people want to see something happen that has already happened in your lifetime over something we've never even come close to doing..... it is beyond me.

I really just don't care. I'll take either of them anytime.

Well, if you had to choose UT football or basketball for the rest of your life, with the other ceasing to exist, which would you choose? I think some people are just football people, and some are just basketball people.

Football is life. For a long time football has been all that matters. Our recent fall to mediocrity has strengthened my resolve to win another FNC even more. A basketball championship would be great, but as far as I'm concerned we're a football school.

Why can't we be a multi-sport school?

Football will never mean as much as basketball for the simple fact that there is no tourney in football. In basketball, you know you are better than everyone else because you beat them.

fine by me. But the question was which would I rather win and I answered and justified it. I grew up as UT being a football power. I grew up watching videos of Peyton Manning, Jay Graham, Al Wilson, and Joey Kent. Basketball at UT didn't exist in my eyes.
