What was Meyer getting revenge for when Tebow was still playing well into the 4th qtr of a 52-20 game?

Meyer would have tried to run the score up had CLK come in meek as a lamb.

Incredibly, Griff said Meyer had "class"... wow.

How do we know what Meyer has or has not said in a supposedly private forum to recruits and boosters? This was not said directly to the press or as part of an official press conference. It was an issue that obviously bothered Kiffin and he took it out of context. The only response needed from UF was something directly from Meyer that simply stated that calling a recruit on an official visit is not cheating and add a zinger back. UF blew the this whole thing out of proportion when Foley ran to Slive.

We'll take all the free pub straight to the recruiting bank...thank you!!!

This has been my stance all along. CUM's not gonna do anything but run up the score on whoever he's playing because he can. If he doesn't run it up on us this year, then that means he was unable. And that means our confidence in our staff's coaching ability should shoot through the roof. If its close this year, we're gonna beat their A$$es next year.

Puhhhleeeeze!!!! Bruce Pearl is a notorious loud mouth and grand stander that has got him plenty of trouble over his career. He's 10+ yrs older than Kiffin so has already had some of those tough lessons. Also, SEC basketball and women's in particular is totally different environment then the blood and guts emotions of SEC football particularly with a proud program like UT's that's been slipping for several years now.

I don't think Brown was ever really ours to lose. We just couldn't turn him and CEO's aggressiveness seemed to have annoyed them...oh well. Would have liked to have had him, but we'll survive and thrive.

Yep, scratching my head on that one too. How much worse can Florida beat us than they beat our polite team of 2007? I'll take a beating where we go down swinging and bloody their nose in the process, then the 2007 experience where some of our players quit in the 4th qtr.

That's b.s. Meyer is alot of things, including a great coach, but classy is not one of them.

He runs up the score after calling timeouts late in a game, he has lied mutiple times to recruits (told Jevon Snead he was recruiting Tebow as a LB, yeah right) and is the most negative recruiter in the SEC. None of those things bother me at all when it comes to football and winning, but those things do not define class.

If Brown can't take EO on a recruiting visit, itsa good thing he didn't sign with us. CLK said it best, its not for everybody (meaning lazy A$$es not wanting to work to get better). The staff seems to know what they're looking for, so I'll just wait and see 'til I can. Open practices? Do we know this yet? Sorry if the answers been posted already.

To add to this.. Ms. Summitt claimed Geno was a cheater when he recruited that standout player on his team. Sooo, it seems as if he's right in line with other coaches.

She never came out and said it like Kiffin did, she just canceled the series and told the media to "ask Geno" - and Kiffin was wrong with his accusations. We don't know with Geno - but wouldn't be surprised if he did pull something.

That deal that richt pulled two years ago after a TD was one of the dumbest coaching moves in history. Florida will remember that for years, and keep playing the replay of UGA players running from the bench onto the field, taunting the UF players. It was total low class by richt. Meyer will use that to his advantage for the next 10 years against uga.

Every year, the week of the game, the media will keep playing that video over and over, getting UF players and coaches all hyped up. Richt must have been smoking something when he told all those players to go on the field. They would have won that day anyway.

Meyer won't be there in 10 years, if anything it will be used for 1 more year then chronic liar is headed to his "dream job" up in South Bend.
