A special thanks goes out from me to everyone who has replied and those who will reply at a later time. Any advice I get means a ton because I'm on my own with this.
I'd take hat's advice first. Just bust up in there and talk to someone. If they BS you, do not take no for an answer.
If that doesn't work out drive over to Pellissippi. Whatever you do get in College. I've seen too many people do that year off crap then do nothing.
EXACTLY. A few people in my family claim they are disabled and leech off of the federal government for money they do not even need. I want to get this thing rolling because I'm afraid if I don't there's a good chance I end up single and alone in public housing; addicted to prescription pills.lol:

Add me to that list...Luckily was blessed with the ability of catching fish for a living and mad computer skills.
I can't say I took a year off but a 1.75 GPA didn't help. Even though I had a 28 ACT
I am out of state, and I was told my projected tuition is 18,000 Room and Board is 7800, books fees and expenses are another 5 or so thousand. Basically, I intend to get together a little over 30k for next year.
You should look into this.
Academic Common Market/Regional Contract Program
It paid my way to in-state tuition as a GA resident at UT.
Sorry if this has been posted or already discussed...
what about the hope scholarship? That alone pays up to half your tuition.
also, I believe UPS or Fedex does tuition reimbursement, not sure how it works.
If you haven't filled out the FAFSA for the fall semsester, do it now.
