Your figures are way off. Knoxville metro area is 600,000+ and that isn't including many areas that are within an hour. Within an hour of Knoxville there are well over 1 million people.

I agree. You guys run out of land to the West in Berkeley. There's plenty of land around us.

the real difference is that the vast majority of those within 1 hour of Cal's campus do not give a rat's arse whether Cal ever plays another football game.

It's a tad different within one hour of Knoxville.

Yeah, just go to your local Wal-Mart and you will see nothing but Orange, and all the cars in the parking lot have UT flags...
