Why? Is Muschamp suddenly a good coach because he has won against a Vol program that is probably in it's worst period ever?

No because their worst Gator team in ages has now beat a Vol team "on the rise" two years in a row. Both times with a back up quarterback.

I wish we would be quiet about Muschamp and quiet about Florida. He's beaten us 4 years running and will probably be fired without ever losing to UT. So, forgive me if I'm not celebrating his retention.

99, Lawrence, and sometimes even lawgator (on rare occasions) actually contribute in meaningful ways. Don't tell them to "get out" just because you're frustrated that our coaching staff is more incompetent than their coaching staff.

Most gator fans are trash. They come on here to poke the bear. They come onto our message board to tell us how bad our fans are.

They can go circlejerk about their team and their awesome fanbase somewhere else.

This Mentality of "I hope (Florida, Georgia, etc) keeps their coach" makes no sense. Those coaches may not be the best, but they routinely beat us. At some point that means they have better coaches. It's up to us to prove our coaches are better by winning the game. On the field. Recruiting, slogans, processes, etc are fantastic. But who wins the game on Saturday is all coaches are ultimately judged on.

I want Butch to be the next Neyland, but until he wins these games he's not. Until he beats these other coaches he isn't as good as Muschamp or Richt.

I really don't think any Gator fans here are "reveling" in anything about our current program. Its really yucky. We know this. End of the season neither UT or UF is going to be getting talked about much. Maybe in terms of a job opening down in Gainesville (oh please, oh please, oh please), but that's about it.
