It will be very interesting the next few days to see what Coach Heupel retains and hires as his coaching staff. I would expect that Kevin Steele will be named Defensive Coordinator as he has a 2 year contract. Something will have to be done with Tee Martin as his contract expires in a few days. With the firing of Pruitt and two other assistant coaches, we have openings to fill. If not this year, as Chaney has one more year on his contract as OC, Coach Heupel will bring in Jeff Lebby...Lebby just had 2 more years added to his present contract elsewhere. The staff will be needed to be filled soon as we enter Spring training. Coach Heupel certainly has an impressive football background with his father as a college football coach and him being an All American QB at Oklahoma when they won a national championship with Bob Stoops as coach. That is an impressive background. Coach Heupel has been a success elsewhere in his climb to be the UT coach.

Steel's overall money is only 900k. 450k per year.
they might tell him to "get" .

I hope not, because he is still one of the best DCs in the country. And UCF needed defense this season
