UT coach actively tries to help Bama win a championship

This is the definition of stupid. All of it. Zero perspective. Lots of things in life are more important then being the coach of UT. And it was all agreed on in advance. I admire someone who follows through with their commitments.

You speak as if you know the commitments he made.

UT could name a goat as the new HC and I swear half the fan base would rationalize what a great move it was.

I was just cruising the Recruiting forum and it struck me — amid all the recruiting we have to do and ground to make up — Pruitt is going to go put on an Alabama shirt and an Alabama logo and coach for two weeks.

Does that not rub anyone else wrong?

I was accepting of it last week. But my what a difference a week makes.

It sucks. His ass better win and win fast. I don’t give a bamer 4 yrs.

I don't see the problem. After all, most UT fans have great admiration for Saban and the Tide, and they realize that the Vols are the Tide's vassals. Sometimes it happens to once-great programs. No biggie. S'all good.
He just wants another ring. That's fine. He's a Bammer grad, and his heart will always be with Alabama. Hey, who knows? Maybe if he flashes that ring to recruits they just might associate it with Pruitt instead of Saban and Alabama. It could happen. Like Josh Groban said - "just believe."

It matters as much as it did a week ago. :boredom:

The No contact dead period started 12/18 and runs through 1/11. Alabama just started practicing on 12/15. The playoffs will over for 'Bamer win or lose by 1/11.

I know most want to think it makes a huge difference, but as far as recruiting, it doesn't.

Whew. Fortunately recruiting is the only task involved in running a top tier college football program.

Absolutely disgusting.

Why anyone would be ok with this is absurd.

Tennessee expectations have fallen so low.

Cuss me if ya want I think he is doing the right thing. He is keeping his word to the players. Meaning he is a stand up man and will stand for us (Vols) when it's over . What would you be saying if the other way around ?GBO GO CJP

Tell me, literally speaking, what was his word to the players?

Would love to see your insight.

This question shows that you never played football. There is a trust that develops between a coach and players. As coaches we preach to give your all and to not let your teammates down. He is finishing what he started with this season. On ESPN today they had a reporter at Alabama and one of the things they discussed was UT's new head coach Pruitt. The reporter said she saw Pruitt a couple of times and every time he had a phone stuck to his ear. He is still working on UT while coaching at Alabama.

Good answer

She say what exactly he was working on?

What do you expect him to be doing now. You realize we’re not in a bowl? Lol

I expect him to be working on restoring Tennessee football, or how about helping his wife and family relocate to a new state and buy a house and working with the new staff and athletic dept

there's a sh!t ton of work he needs to be doing and none of should involve Bama

Fulmer is his boss. Who thinks Bama will win their next game????? Would you want someone from UT in charge of your defense in a playoff game??? This thing has two sides to it.

Whole lot of “I don’t know” in this word jumble.
