UT coach actively tries to help Bama win a championship

If he ends up being a good coach here and winning a lot of games and maybe taking us to Atlanta a few times this will be a non issue.

Every other hire in the SEC could have coached a bowl game and all refused.
And you don't see any difference between a bowl game and a national championship? Believe me they're different. Butch won bowl games. National championships are on a whole different level.

I was just cruising the Recruiting forum and it struck me — amid all the recruiting we have to do and ground to make up — Pruitt is going to go put on an Alabama shirt and an Alabama logo and coach for two weeks.

Does that not rub anyone else wrong?

I was accepting of it last week. But my what a difference a week makes.

Shut up with this crap already. It is what it is and it's not going to change a damn bit until the College Football Playoff is done. Until then, Pruitt will recruit like crazy for us and that's all we need right now.

Let it go. :snoring:

What a terrible thing that a coach wants to fulfill his commitments and honor his players by seeing things through to the end. Horrible guy. Wish we'd hired someone with character like Lane Kiffin instead.

This has already been run into the ground. Try checking other threads before starting one.

Nothing on first page. Merge it then.

Doesn’t change my mind that I feel like Pruitt would be better off leaving Alabama and fully committing to Tennessee

And Kirby is different. Georgia is his forever job. Pruitt is here until Bama calls back (If he is successful).

We will be hard nosed. Just not buying into all the press conference hype.

Dooley won you knuckle draggers over with his slick words. Snowflakes love them some fancy talk without any action.

Uncle Lou running rampant. Sounds like you hate Pruitt Lou, because you know what is coming for Georgia, don’t you?:thud::)

Butch Jones wanted to see things through this year. I didn’t mind seeing him not do it.

Pruitt made a new commitment. Would be nice to see him honor it.

Yea, but does Derrick Henry he recruited, ring a bell? Uncle Lou??:):thud::lolabove:

I know Uncle Lou is lurking as mega Vols, but geeezze, all of you get a life and lighten up.
Lighten up on Pruitt, and let him do his job...:):thud::crazy::eek:hmy::good!::banghead2:

Sounds like a Uncle Lou story, that is jealous!:):thud:

Not sure who your Uncle Lou is. But I’m sorry for what he’s done to you.

Not one bit. Just like it did for Kirby it will be free, good pub until Ala gets beat or wins the NC. We heard Kirby's name and GA for a month and the same will happen to JP. It's free, priceless publicity. Nothing at all wrong with that.

You agree to coach the Univeristy of Tennessee

How about ya do just that

What’s so hard to understand?

So if the roles were reversed you wouldn't want him to stay through the playoffs? Or you don't think the players would want and would deserve for him to finish out the year? I would want and expect him to finish what he started and not put the team a coach down when there's prop much other stuff to focus on. I hope Ala gets their a$$ beat by Clemson and think they will but totally respect him wanting to finish what he started for the players. They deserve that. And it's not like he could recruit or do much of anything else during that time anyway since it's the dead period. It doesn't hurt us in the least.

Sure wouldn’t.

And you can call and send letters and all sorts of contact during the dead period.

Could also be on campus and in the community getting set up and ready to go.

I respect people who are all in and don’t try to please everyone.

I know it will all work out. Just rubs me wrong.

Damnation, you can buy one in Alabama or Tennessee at any Wal Mart or fill in station.

It's kind of like a two week notice which most knuckledraggers should comprehend......

Agreed. Don't see the problem at all. It will be the dead period when he's there so there's nothing he could do here anyway. Just something for some fans to 8itch about.
