For all Vols in NC with Timewarner cable, they obviously don't carry CSS, but looking through the channels today, they have a channel (SECAlt on 506) that everytime I check it out it simply says "Occassional SEC Programming"...but today it lists the game on today.

Until it comes on...never know, so I'll have my ESPN3 ready.

Checked channel 506 and apparently the UT game is the only thing on this channel for the week...TBD for Oct 5th.

They let the Duke/BC postgame interviews run over the start of Tennessee/Florida, so I'm guessing so.

Agreed. I'm seriously debating an angry phone call (or email) to somebody, but I'm not quite sure who I should direct it to.

I was furious when this happened, and thought the same thing. They were interviewing David Cutcliff, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

The Raleigh market sucks! Just got out here about a month ago and the baseball markets are messed up bad! and their college football stuff so far has been pitiful

It might be that your local ACC Network affiliate isn't the local CBS affiliate. It is in Raleigh/Durham.

I had the game on stream cause I knew some stuff like that would happen. My wife thought I was going to have a brain aneurysm during Cut's interview.

Not sure...I called TW yesterday (difficult bunch to deal with and get a answer) and finally was told it was not PPV anywhere they had to offer.

When I said pay, I didn't mean PPV. I meant extra sports package (in this case, ESPN Gameplan).

I have the "sports package" from TWC, but not gameplan. I don't think it's gameplan because they have their own channels for that. This channel has always been listed, but I've never seen it really show anything.

Ah, okay. Yeah, I know the NHL Center Ice (which I haven't bought but am sometimes tempted by) has its own channels too.

I like this NC Vol vent thread we've got going on here.

Don't get me started on the fact that they broadcasted every Carolina Panthers preseason event. From games to team showers, I almost lost it. Seemed like every time I turned on the TV some special presentation about the Panthers was on.

Fortunately, I lost almost all interest in pro football. And even if I didn't, I've always kinda liked the Panthers.

Or how about zero regional baseball in the Raleigh/Durham area, we are in a Nationals blackout zone but they show ZERO baseball games here on the FS Carolinas.. Stupidest thing i've ever seen

We moved here a year ago (from Bristol) and my son is a hockey nut and part of the deal to move was him getting the Center Ice package...guess I'm gonna have to pay for that here in a few days again. We occassionally head to Raleigh to watch the Hurricanes...but usually when they're playing his favorite teams (Caps and Red Wings).

Anyway...fingers crossed that its on...gave my tickets to my daughter, so watching from home (saving my travel for UGA, LSU and SC this month).

I enjoy watching the Hurricanes. The atmosphere is a blast. Tickets are a little pricey for me to go often, but I'm gonna try to make two or three games this year.
