Does it come down to the individual bowl game committee to chose who they want? Because I know it usually says the 6th from the sec and 7th from acc go to that game (or vice versa). In the projections I see it saying miss st going to it in all of them. I'd much rather play in Nashville than crappy Memphis.

usually comes to the committees to talk and deal with each other to get the teams they want (or possibly some compensation)


just think of it as, we beat UK, then our options are Music City (Nashville), Liberty (Memphis), or Compass (Birmingham)

Couple nights in Memphis isn't the worst thing in the world. I managed to survive there for 3-4 years.

The Vols are a lock for the MCB. No way they let the Vols go elsewhere after how we sold out the game so quickly and had so much support there.

If a bowl has an at large slot, they can take whoever they please among bowl eligible teams. I very seriously doubt UT would get turned down if they are eligible.

I think they go by conference record but any bowl can reach down and take a school with one more loss than the next in line school.

youre right. if the profile says "Indiana" I MUUUUST actually live there! theres no way thats where I went to Grad school when I signed up for the website.

Also, I was talking about the stadium. Not the town. Indiana is a darling place and Memphis is fine too.

I did my 3-year "tour" in Memphis and what I love about people who defend Memphis and how great it is is that very few of them actually live there and they simply drive downtown to work and get out of town to Germantown, Bartlett, Cordova, Covington, Millington, South Haven, etc. as quickly as possible at 5 pm.
