Are they deep enough to have Deboard, Mahoney and our S&C coach let go for premier, PROVEN, coaches that can recruit & DEVELOP players? If so, who would they be?

Jones will ride to glory or crash in flames with who he chooses.

This.

DeBord is an extension of Jones and running what Jones want run on offense.

If you want some major philosophical( in so much that there is a discernible philosophy to this offense) change on offense, gonna have to cut the head man.

The heck with buying new coaches, tell'em to go out and line some five star recruits pockets with cash. I mean I know bama gets recruits because they win but I have to believe that there's some shady under the table business going on at the same time.

Set offensive records one week with nearly 700 yards total offense

Set offensive records the next week for lows in total offense

Coaches are the same...players we're different...yeah fire the players and the coaches that caused players to get hurt in a contact sport.

I love that the Internet breeds intelligence.

Been saying this for a while now. It is what it is but people don't seem to want to hear it.

Whether you are for the coaches(any of them) or not, the only way they leave TN in the foreseeable future is if one of the following occurs:

They unfortunetely pass away
They are involved in a scandal, which could take multiple down if they are involved or know about it.

----OR they get a job offer somewhere else.
This would be the most likely, but still a long shot.
Only valuable coach that I see drawing interest anywhere would be Is Shoops, and while he's known for his elite defenses I don't know if that indicates a possible HC position, or his desire.
The schools that would pay the amount we pay wouldnt offer CBJ anything. I know many here are in love with him due to a more positive performance than the recent few coaches here, but these other top schools are looking for championships, not just being better like we've grown to accept. And CBJ has hit his ceiling on the moving up the ladder on running teams.

Good lord this is becoming tiring. So who do we hire? Who are all of these proven coaching geniuses that are looking for jobs?

CBJ is here through 2019. Depending on how the next 3 seasons will go, and who our next AD is will determine his fate. I doubt he drops many of the current coaches though, he's stubborn, and loyal to a fault.

This staff has improved the win-loss record every year. Nobody goes anywhere unless CBJ says so. It's amazing how everyone forgets how bad we were prior to CBJ. We were a laughing stock. We worried about beating vandy. A bowl game was considered a good season. We were the warning story for getting rid of a long term coach. We got whipped today. It wasn't a surprise. We played a hell of a stretch of games which were all emotional. The only fair criticism I see is that we looked bad in some wins. I agree with Butch a win is a win.

You also have to take into account what a dumpster fire the east is during that time period. GA fires richt, Gary Pinkel retires, Floridahires Jim-Bob Butterteeth, Kentucky retains Stoops, and Vandy Retains Mason. Now South Carolina has Hired the Muschamp.

It's not been too difficult to increase our wins every year given the situation. We've struggled in every game this year, regardless of who the opponent is,it's been our hallmark this year. Hopefully it doesn't carry over into the rest of the CBJ era, because he's here till 2019 more than likely.

Anyone who uses Dooley as a metric for comparison instantly loses all credibility.
