I want to take the wife to Tuscaloosa for the game and was wondering the best way to get tickets other than spending alot of money through stubhub. Anybody on here with season tickets that would want to sell their away Bama tickets?

It's usually cheaper to find a Bama fan that has tickets and tell him you'll make his trailer payment in exchange for tickets. Should run you about $30.

Tell a bama fan you know a girl that looks very similar to his sister and that you can hook him up, should get tickets free or half off

That's generally a hot ticket unless either team is in the dumps. Tennessee's got a new faith and positive outlook and Bama just wants to stomp us and sing rammer jammer while doing it. I doubt you're going to find reasonable tickets and if you do, I would take advantage of them.

Been down there many times.

Advice....dont worry about cost. You want tickets in the Tennessee section. I'd get em early. Had one year were we bought ours down there and they ended up being fake....altho a very good one. Got us into the stadium but the seat didn't exist.

The most I've ever had to pay is $150 per...but usually around $100.

Watch uttix.com the past 2 years they have been posting away tickets for sale and even the big games ga, fla, bama. they get gone quick though. it will be for face value. just subscribe to their email list and they will let you know when tickets go on sale.

I've gone down there the last couple of times and have paid about $110-125 for upper level Tennessee section. Just waited until season ticket holders got their tix and got them on Volnation>tix forum or Craigslist.

I always buy mine from the UT ticket office for face value. Never had a problem

When their first released? That's the cheapest way. Usually $70-80 but I never know if I'm gonna be going until later in the year.

I would still buy them. You can always sell them...for some extra cash.

Buy early is correct. However, BAMA does allow visiting fans to sit together. There is only a small group by the band usually allowed. Pisses me off too. They spread the UT issued seats out around the stadium.

I have been the Bama game for 30 years. 2 years ago they had the new upper end zone and put UT in those seats. They are really crappy and at an odd angle to watch the game. My two options this time are to either stay home or buy tickets in the Bama sections off of StubHub. I would rather pay double for a good seat rather than sit in the crappy upper end zone they built. I know it helps UT if we buy their allocated tickets but I refuse to go back up there.

Get tickets from the UT ticket office or from a UT ticket holder. It is better to sit in the nosebleed section with high powered binoculars than get sandwiched between 'Bama fans. It takes days to get rid of the stench.

Thanks everybody. I've been married to my wife nearly 20 years and she is a UT fan until the 3rd Saturday in October. Has been since she was a kid. I'm still working on her but the past 4 years haven't been good to Vol fans.
