That seems like a stretch. You might need to ask for more points, cause I don't see UT being within 2 TD's against them next year.

You can criticize Lame all you want but it was a tough decision. No matter what he did at that point in the game there was a real chance of it backfiring.

The real story here is all of a sudden that he's not our coach everyone is making wild accusations about how he was abusing drugs and how he made a really bad decision that no other coach would make. Maybe if you applied this kind of skepticism to people regardless of which team they are on you'd be more rational.

I wouldn't. I don't see UT winning or coming close to winning against Alabama for a few years. We are in the middle of another one of the losing streaks in this series that happens on both sides.

Yeah, we had scored a bunch of touchdowns that day. Crompton looked like Drew Brees. The fact Alabama was in a prevent defense during that drive had nothing to do with it.

The only reason he's saying this is because he thinks crompton is a "hilljack" from NC.

If the bet were $10, I'd say take it. On paper, Bama should be >13 points better than TN. On turf, Bama will be 8 weeks without a bye and TN will be rested. Game's in Knoxville. Bama plays Ole Miss the week prior to TN; usually a tough physical game. No shocker if Bama loses to TN.

But $100?? Nah.

I was at the game, sat in our section, and we were all commenting on how Lincoln was not hitting the ball well at all in warmups. I am not saying we should not have tried the fg, but afterwards I felt bad for Lincoln because he was asked to kick when he was hurt. I know you have to tough things out, but he got a raw deal in my opinion. Maybe he should have taken himself out I don't know. All I know is the fans who were cursing at him at the team buses looked like idiots.
