Yeah, we suck. Yeah, 'Bama beat us again. But all in all it was a classy game. Two Alabama fans were sitting in front of us and, although vocal in support of the Tide, were very respectful. They were from Tuscaloosa and were talking about even in the Legion Field days the Tennessee fans were the most cordial around. I feel the same way about the Tide. Don't get me wrong, I hate those bunch of cheaters in the football complex, but overall it is a classy and respectful rivalry between the two historically best programs in the SEC. Georgia, Florida, and LSU, on the other hand, can go to hell...

You know what from here on out lets all here at Volnation make an effort to hold the hand of an opposing fan. Let them feel comfortable within our Home base. Let's really reach out and make sure that Knoxville offers them a place where they can be a fan of a hated opposing team and walk around like they own the place.

The football team does it, why the hell shoudln't we?

Are you aware what the cheer of Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer entails? Before the freakin game was over in our house they started up their little cheer that said in short "Hey Vols, we just beat the hell out of you". I agree, we wouldn't want to appear to be white trash rednecks.

There's a difference between White Trashing and making sure opposing fans know their place.

Did you give these guys a back massage? A hot towel?

No, I'm just representative of the Tennesseans who actually went to school at UT and have a justified amount of pride in the image of the university, not some hillbilly who thinks the university begins and ends on Saturdays in the fall, and thinks a lifted truck and a camo hat means we're more "manly" than those rascal Alabama fans who have the gall to come up here from Ft. Payne and cheer on their team...

Listen, Boscephus, I'm far from a Hillbilly. I'm just saying when an opposing team comes in they should have somewhat reserved thoughts before opening their mouth. If you think I cuss and scream at kids, etc. think again. If there's an opposing fan getting the big jeans then I don't "Keep it Classy".

Couldn't agree with you more. I've been in two fistfights in X5 with Georgia fans during the past two home meetings (delivered courtesy of the U.S. Marines, Bulldog fans), I just think it is a pretty respectful rivalry with Alabama. And yes, I was in Tuscaloosa last year. But don't get me wrong...if they get brave and act like they own the place I'll be the first one to shout them down.

Alright we're on the same page. I love you. Go Vols.

LSU fans are great. I've always liked them. They just like to get messed up and party. I can dig that.
