I just left sport seasons in Franklin. They do have some new pullovers that are pretty sharp. I bought a gray Adidas fleece. However, the owner happened to be there and I asked him about DD's gray pullover. He told me that DD is "like his mom" and does his own thing. He isn't wearing what Adidas provides and Adidas isn't happy. Evidently, he wears what he likes and has the power T put on it. Probably not thread worthy and not sure of the accuracy, but oh well.

Interesting the dude in Franklin knew that about Dooley, maybe you should work out a VN discount with him lol

I was guessing that he does that. Sort of explains the hard to find/impossible to find items he sports. Maybe Adidas will adapt and bring out a Dooley line.

He said, "we have all this stuff, but you must be the 1000th person to call or ask about that jacket, and the same thing with his hat he wore last year".

Dooley's like a honey badger. Dooley does what Dooley wants. Think he'd ever color the hair orange?

I heard the exact thing from a very good source. Said Dooley has really ticked off the Adidas people by not wearing the clothes they gave him.

I can see it now. Adidas is proud to introduce the new Double D line of apparel - Shoes, Shorts, Pants, Hats, Shirts, and Pullovers.

Well maybe Dooley wants Adidas to start stepping up and put better stuff out there. Don't forget we have Hart (from Alabama) as AD. Big Nike school. Under Armor and Nike is kicking adidas tail right now.

Adidas will get over it. Or, maybe produce some things that fit him better or he is more comfortable with.

Even the mighty color Orange would just slide right off of the Perfect Hair.

I don't know. I thought I saw some gray hairs in a post-practice media session a week or two ago. I think this young team is putting a little stress on him.

Power T Tilly hat, orange pants, and a custom pullover = Dooley Halloween costume.

I have no problem with DD wearing what he wants and don't think he should be limited by what Adidas provides him.

If this is true I do think he needs to consider the money side of things and at least get Adidas the chance to make it for him. Anything he wears is going to be instantly popular and could sell very well. With the rep being on campus I bet the turnaround on apparel would be quick

thing is the pullover that people are looking for is an Adidas product but with a power T added. The clothes seem fine but they just need to market them through Adidas

I prefer the adidas stuff to anything UA or nike is doing.

Honestly, I commented months ago about adidas gear. I have always thought it was subpar, and though I haven't recently, I weighed basketball shoes and cleats a few years back and they were heavier by several ounces. I got railed on here for saying it.

Under Armor is not that great. I've heard a lot of barn fans saying they wish the school would start using another apparel company.

Maybe that's why I got railed, but the linemen and backers wear hightop cleats quite often and they are pretty heavy.

well fast guys sell shoes. Can't see Oher selling them with a "they dropped my 40 time down to a 5.9" :). I would bet they redesigned the whole line but am not sure

I'm sure they did, and they had to. Not in the last few, but for many years going back to @ '90, I had a new pair of UT football cleats every year sent to me. They felt like weights at times.
