Pat Forde has been busy fighting a campaign to impugn the reputation and name of the University of Tennessee for Cuonzo Martin leaving Tennessee. Now Frank Haith leaves Missouri for a lesser job and now Forde decided to paint with broader brush and implies that the SEC schools and their fans are racists.

Is Forde accurate?

Or is Forde just another media member with an agenda to push?

It's a pretty dumb take, but Forde is trying to get viewers and by clicking on it you're doing what he wants you to do. Same stuff Whitlock/Reilly do.

Nice of Forde to politely ignore that Mizzou was about to fire Haith anyway because dude sucks at coaching.

And he should be serving a show cause

Pat Forde is a KY homer.
He had not a discouraging word to say back when KY axed Tubby.

Would be interesting to see what league has had most black coaches last 15-20years. SEC would have to be near the top.

Wondered when someone would play the race card!

Obvious questions that Forde will not ask:

1. Who "FIRED" Kawanzo??

2. What "Racist School" would hire a black coach in the first place??

This is beyond ridiculous. If the SEC were racist, no black coach would be hired. I for one want a black coach (Smart) to replace Martin.

Meanwhile the Big 10 fields all white basketball teams and no one says a word.

Meanwhile, other schools field all-black teams and no one says a word either.

Playing the race card every time a black person is criticized for not performing as expected gets pretty old. Neither Martin nor Haith were fired - true, each was criticized for their teams not living up to fan expectations (however unrealistic), but that happens everywhere. All coaches face fan scrutiny and criticism - it comes with the territory and the paycheck at a good D-1 school.

How come there is not one article about how our team didn't have any other races but one last year. If they want to make an issue about it don't have a double standard. If there was an all white team or all latino or Asian all hell would break loose. Just my .02...

Off the top of my head, I count 10 black hc's in SEC since 98 when Tubby went to UK. At that time, you had 2 sitting black hc's

Yes. We had a black head coach with an all black staff, with the exception of one white assistant, all all black team and we're racist.
