how much of a problem does UT have with dope? it seem every other month some player is charged or associated with charges of dope. it must be a pretty bad problem. we have students bringing it over in bulk, getting killed over, we ball players left a right getting in trouble.

for every athelte that gets caught, i wonder how many guys are getting away with it?

It's every where. I just don't think it is reported nationally much because it is becoming so common. Ohio just had two basketball players busted for weed this past week.

I really don't worry too much about the weed here at Tennessee. It's not like it isn't present at just about every public university in the country.

It's going on everywhere. It's the world we live in and all that matters is who gets caught.

I think it in line with the general demographic make up of the team. The players are called out more by the media because of the positions that they are in. It's a reflection of our society in general not of our football team.

It is one of the main reasons Will Muschamps didn't take the job, and it is seen as a major problem by some of our former coaches, along with the current depth problem and the need to recruit nationally. It may be everywhere but it is hurting us more than most major programs!

There was a general in the army a couple of years back who said that "To think that soldiers were not doing drugs would be naive. It is a societal problem."
So of course college kids are smoking weed. It is going on everywhere!

Shut down Cocke County, and you solve half the problems in Knoxville.

I regret to inform you there are 2 reasons Muschamp didnt come to Tennessee. 1. SEC is brutal. Big 12 is winnable every year. 2. recruiting is easy at Texas. open the doors and every elite player in the state will sign their LOI without taking unofficial visits anywhere else. so alot less headaches. I personally thdoubt weed would ever come up in any coaches decision to pick a school.

Mary Jane has been popular among students for the past 30 yrs. I am not sure where the OP has been spending their time.

There isn't much of a dope problem here. It's usually easy to get, and the good stuff seems to be in good supply. Thanks for asking though :good!:
