Serious question here. Before the DR incident, you guys made it sound like all three of your starting wr's were going to be very good. I understand DR is the most proven of them all, but he is still just 1/3 of the three "first round draft pick" wide receivers. Therefore, you still have two more than 99% of the other D1 schools. How come a lot of you are making it sound like your strength has now been completely neutralized?
Bray will light up their weak secondary with big yards and points. This game could get ugly early.
If he has any sense, he will respect their secondary (it's very good) and not try and force any passes. It's going to be a tight game and tight games are usually decided by turnovers. I think the pleasant surprise will be our defense this year. If the offense can keep from making a bunch of first game mistakes like trying to force a pass that might have worked in practice against the scrubs, but won't work against a quality secondary, then we win.
Easiest way to explain it: If a team is listed with a -, they are favored, and the other team gets the points. If a team is listed with a +, they are the underdog and get the points.
Actually, it has. It started at Tennessee -7 on July 24, quickly moved to Tennessee -2 on July 31, and has been between 3 and 4 continuously since then.
