I know that these rankings are affected by the strength of the competition but it would be great to see UT ranked higher as the season progresses.

I never understood the obsession with yards per game.

It's about POINTS PER GAME.

We scored 45 points yesterday. Focusing on yards basically penalizes teams with great defenses and special teams that create short fields.

We played flat in week one. Week two we turnovers so we had a shorter field more times than not so we didn't get as many yards. Important thing is, the offense capitalized when they had to.

Ga not that good. Eason has no touch and struggles when he needs it. Don't like him and he plays like a frosh.

He's also rubbing off on the run game because he can't recognize fronts and get out of bad plays. UGA is ripe to lose a couple of games early on.

He will improve. The guy is talented. A true FR QB has a very small chance of success in the SEC. The guy can already throw better than some upperclassmen QBs.

I choose to focus on the fact we're 2-0 and just enjoy being a fan. Only get 12 of these games a year. I'm a fan... Why worry and sweat over stuff?

He will improve. No doubt. But. As a freshman he's capable of stinking it up pretty badly. So hopefully he does that when we play him.

Kinda hard to rack up yardage given the field position we had with half of our drives.

Just an observation from just over half a century of watching football. Teams that significantly lose the turnover battle often put up more yards than the winner unless it's a really lopsided game.
