USF Chaz Nimrod

All he had to do was stick around and grind, instead of bailing. Hit the jugs machine like crazy, as Hyatt did before 2022. He'd be our starting slot and stand to be a primary target. Transferring was unwise.
Maybe. He looked really good yesterday. That said, I'm gonna withhold judgement for a few games. I'm hoping he was recruited over and maybe knew it. USF plays Florida and Miami of Florida next. Does he show up there... is the question. If so, then we might missed something.

I don’t know if we can say he was recruited over. Wouldn’t we have taken him right now, at the very least, for depth? He was ahead of Staley on the depth chart last year. If he’d put in the work, he’d have started. At worst, he’d be the 4th WR.

But he was smart to go to USF if he’s gonna leave. He already knew the offense. Regardless, hope he continues to play well and gets drafted. Kid was born with an unfortunate last name and deserves a break.

I wish we had brought in Barrian Brown who left UK for LSU and is a Nashville product. We have 6 guys at WR who’ve combined for about 15 career catches. Just need 2-3 of them to step up. We’re about to see if Pope can coach.

With all that said we have some depth at RB and I expect us to run.

Yeah, that’s not what happened. Probably should have watched the games
As a season ticket holder i did watch every game.
As an avid tailgater, i probably wasnt the most sober person in the stadium. However, i can assure you the WRs that portaled out were told they would not be first string this season....because of their inability to get open.

No doubt you can find a play or two with a receiver wide open. However, you can easily find plays every game where the separation is nil to negligible.
Yeah, it's big time football. You have to be able to throw in to small windows. Can't play scared and hold the ball and run backwards. That's also why you have to take advantage guys running wide open down the field. Even if it's 1 or 2 per game, that can be the difference in the game. Gotta hit them.
