The Vols should spend a good portion of the next game throwing passes and trying to improve our disjointed passing game; maybe work on blitz recognition, getting the backs involved in passing game; possession passing. This will again be important moving forward. We don't really need to show all game that we can run against a weaker team. Work on what we don't do well.

We need to get our fans some practice at being quiet while we're on offense as well.

May not matter what we do against lesser opponents. We ran it on BG for 399 yards. Kamara looked like an all world player. Against a real team none of that showed up. We need to come out against FLORIDA and prove we can run and pass the ball.

He only touched the ball 4 or 5 times against OU. Hard to blame him if he doesn't get touches.

The few times they did, they ran the play with the wrong RB. Kamara up the middle, lol k.

Maybe we could also work on tackling, the kind where you actually wrap up, instead of diving at their feet.

So we want to work on tackling more. Got it.

When players were getting hurt in fall camp, people complained we were being too physical.

You can't have it both ways. It's a balance the coaches have to manage.

Maybe you have me confused with one of the people who were complaining about football being to physical.

Butch is actually saying W. Carolina is a formidable opponent.
Really Butch?
I like you Butch, but just stop with the politics, this is football. Why not say, I plan to go out there and get a big win? He doesn't say that, cause if he doesn't get a big win, then he will say, "well they were a good football team" "we have alot of work to do" blah blah blah

One good on Butch last weekend. His comments towards Striker. Defend what's your Butch.

Working on passing and blitz-We should have been doing that for months. Sure we will work on it, but this is Western Carolina. We would probably learn more practicing against our own D. Maybe Deboard's head is still thinking about college girls swim team. And if we start Colton Jumper again!

Can't fix our passing game with CZA running things. I'm sure there's a good reason North only has one catch for 9 yards after 2 games. When was the last time you saw a UT WR dive for a ball? I assume they are coached to never leave their feet since the run after the catch is so important. Also Dobbs won't throw to a receiver that isn't wide open. Scratch that last point, he tried in the 2nd OT and grossly under threw North.

North should just cut his losses and go pro at the end of the year. This staff won't improve his stock and his size and athleticism will impress enough people at the combine for him to get a pretty good draft position.

Seeing as how there probably won't be 80,000 fans in the stands after last Saturday's debacle, I doubt crowd noise will be an issue.

Totally agree. 1 catch for 8 yds
