USCjr fans talking crap

Interesting that most rival fans don’t think Pruitt will make it here.

Not really that interesting.

They’re just basing that off W-L and losing to Ga St.

Interesting would be if our own players or coaches on our own staff or someone of the like didn’t think Pruitt would make it here. And that hardly seems to be the case.

I hope you're right but I've personally seen enough of JG and will be very disappointed if he's starting. He's fooled us too many times.
I think The Vanderbilt game and hopefully a Bowl Game will be the last games he'll suit up for at Tennessee before transferring somewhere like Rutgers,Syracuse,Pitt or Boston College.

Pretty tame compared to posts I have seen here about our own team. IMO

some quotes from the screenshots of the posts on the S. Carolina forum
”We win in we start off fast.”
“We win if Ryan has a good game.”
“Their (Tenn) QB play is inconsistent.”
”Pruitt is not that good of a coach.”

We won’t beat them with JG starting.

I understand the sentiment, but Pruitt will not ask either Guarantano or Shrout to win this game. He will challenge the offensive line and running backs to make this a line-of-scrimmage, “fistfight” war.

If this game holds true to form, as it pertains recently to the Tennessee-South Carolina series, it will be another nail-biting, last-second outcome. Barring yet another catastrophic, self-inflicted wound, I predict that the proverbial worm will finally turn and Tennessee will emerge victorious.

I agree with you. Both the O and Dline are playing different ball than they were the first few games of the year. If they bring the same intensity they've had the last couple of games, we stand a chance....might be a close one.

As we all know, it's all about Bama, Florida, and Georgia. USC is an automatic win every year in my eyes and that likely will never change, just like Vandy, UK, Mizzou. I dont ever worry about these teams.

Automatic win lol they have won 3 straight against us and are 8-6 against us since 2005 and 6-3 since 2010 they sadly like Vandy are far from being the automatic wins they used to be in the good ole days.

JG has his best game EVER! Heisman type performance. Vols win going away!

I'm holding out hope that it starts to click for him at some point. Nothing he has shown has made me think that it will but, when it comes to UT, I've been proven wrong multiple times. Go Vols!

the only point they made that is credible is that this might be a letdown game for us. I do not expect it to be a letdown only because they have beaten us 3 years in a row so i expect us to come out ready to play.

If they think our team is emotionally spent and won't be ready to play them then they haven't been paying attention. Even with our QB issues I think we get it done this Saturday. Of all the losing streaks we have had over the years Muschamp's has to be the luckiest.

I’m flattered we’ve earned that level of respect.

Last I remember, Tennessee owned Florida

We are 2-5 and cockmasters are 3-4. Home game for UT. Both teams are coming off losses to superior teams. There is not a whole lot of separation between the programs right now. I know WC has never lost to us but hey we are due a break. The game last year was competitive going into the 4th quarter. We have a decent shot at winning this one regardless of what USC jr fans think. GBO!!!!!

I'd say Tennessee having a 22-9 lead last year, before blowing it, is a little more than competitive. UT should have beat them last year, and despite JG's regression this year, I think the game being in Knox and the vast improvement by the O-Line will play a big factor. JG had a decent game last year against them. Over 200 yds with 2 TDs and no picks. If he can somehow duplicate those numbers and Tennessee's running game continues to show up I think the Vols win a close one. Maybe a Cimaglia Field Goal to win it.

I lived in Columbia for a few years in the late 80's, and for us to beat those yard birds was the biggest deal to me every year--I couldn't stand their fans. Now I live in Charleston and they don't seem as bad to me as they used to. Of course, that might be because about everybody here seems to be from NY or NJ...lol. I'd still love to get that W this year, tho.
