Wait, Stepp decided against coming here or we decided against taking him?

The rb we get on Monday (if everything goes as expected) will be the most talented rb on the team immediately.
Interesting. That's a different take than AP calling him added depth. Dixon is someone I'd have liked to add the past two times he's considered transferring, and it's never worked out for whatever reason. Not sure he fits the bill as most talented RB on the team, but he's good.

if its Dixon then that statement is probably correct. Had Etienne in front of him at Clemson but had 100 carries in 2019 and averaged almost 7 per. Caught some balls too. His 2019 runs were really impressive. Extremely shifty, natural runner.

Okay just watched this highlight

Ummm yes please can it be him?!?

He would indeed be the most talented on the roster.

Happy we're pushing for another starter-level RB.

However, does this mean that one of the other RB's on the roster isn't going to be healthy or is something else going on?

Hoping this just means we're attracting top shelf talent and filling the cupboard.

Last year we were running on empty at the end of the season with injury attrition.

Go Vols !

With the loss of Whitehead for the season, Tennessee needs another option to Stepp to the forefront.
