The National Collegiate Athletic Association is expected to impose a three-year football probation on the University of Southern California that would include a two-year ban on bowl and television appearances, The Los Angeles Times reported in its Sunday issue.

The university's president, James Zumberge, has received a report from the N.C.A.A. Infractions Committee detailing what sanctions will be imposed as a result of its investigation of the Trojans' football program, the newspaper reported. It attributed the information to a ''reliable source.''

Athletic Director Dick Perry of U.S.C., confirmed that the N.C.A.A.'s letter had been received but said that university officials had not had time to thoroughly review the contents.

On another note, anyone going to the World's Fair this weekend?

I remember getting parachute pants from the fair, and still have the framed paper with my name written in some Asian dialect... its hanging in my house no lie.
That's all I have to say about that.

The 1984 World's Fair was in New Orleans. I went to that one, too. And let me say, Knoxville's was a lot better.

You mean they had them after Knoxville??? I thought we lost so much money on it that it pretty much ended World's Fairs forever, they are still paying debt.:lolabove:
