Seven friends, who have NEVER been to a live game, are traveling to Neyland to watch the Vols pummel the Gamecocks. But, they want to camp in their fifth wheel from Thursday to Sunday. Any recommendations for nearby nice, easily accessible pads, campsites off of I-40. We will be traveling from campsite via personal cars the morning of the game. Headed from Nashville. All empty nesters.

River Plantation RV Resort (Sun Outdoors Pigeon Forge) is a really nice spot for your larger RV's. It's just on the outskirts of Pigeon Forge/Gatlingburg area in Sevierville, therefore traffic is not near as bad. The access to interstate is also pretty easy. This is the only one we have visited and feel good about the recommendation.
it's been a while since we have stayed there, but I believe it is about 30-40 minutes from the stadium.

ABC and NBC present...."Camping with the Cocks"
Watch what happens when you stuff to many Cocks in one tent...

Aw man someone who really has the time could really run with this one lol....

Thanks for the recommendations. Need 1-2 more. Great starting point. Regarding the thread title….wanted to get a lot of “must read.” It work.
