They could have had time remaining if Spurrier had actually bothered to have some foresight and not burned 2 of his timeouts late in the 4th with only a 1 point lead, just to run a punt -- which you could have easily done without taking 2 timeouts first.

So yeah, some of the blame needs to go on Spurrier. Some of it just has to do with USCe being overrated.

I'm not going to complain though about the win. I'm about as happy as one can get.
