LSU is loaded with talent, but the QB situation could get tricky. The 1st raod game AT Auburn in front of a hostile crowd may be DOOM for the new QB. BTW the USC-OSU winner may not get to the NC game. I think USC loses at least twice, and OSU won't get through the big 10 unbeaten.:good!:
Yeah I agree with LSU's qbs costing them that game especially since Auburn always plays em tough.
But OSU(the other team besides UT I refer to as we) shouldn't have too hard of a time in the big 10. Michigan's down, PSU is at home, Wisconsin is overrated. Illinois is the only team that worries me if they find a RB.
Sorry if this has been covered but six pages was more than I wanted to read. I did not see Duke listed as getting a vote. I though Spurrier always votes for Duke in the preseason poll. Why the change this year? Does it have something to do with Cutcliffe being at Duke or some other reason?

Playing at 4's better than playing a night game
At 4 the locals will have only been drinking half the day
Drinking or not!! The heat will be unbearable for app st. Its bad enough they are outmatched by a HUGE margin!!!LSU rolls in this game 45-6!! BTW speaking of the poll, OH how the mighty have fallen. NOT A SINGLE VOTE for Miami!!! WOW!!!:mega_shok:
No. In fact, since my expectations are somewhat tempered for the Vols, I have to find other things in cfb to enjoy besides rooting for the Vols. Watching UGA fail I will enjoy. If the Vols beat them, that will just add to the enjoyment greatly.
I thought we would be ranked better than 18. I was expecting somewhere around 12. If a UGA team that we blew out last year can be #1 we should be better than #18.
Irrational post.
First, the teams aren't the same.
Second, if the criteria was how you did last year versus other ranked teams, UF would be 5 and UT would be 152,378th.

Yeah, losing essentially a home game to a team that was beaten by Appy State really merits a top 5 ranking.Irrational post.

I am in downtown Atlanta. The parade down Peachtree to crown the Georgia Bulldogs the National Champions is about to start. The players are all standing in flatbed trucks waiving to the fans. Confetti is falling from the sky. CMR is signing autographs. The Governor is about to issue the proclamation that today is Dawg day across the state ..
