lol @ the idea of Dooley leaving UT for UGA. Not. Going. To. Happen. It's a possibility many years down the road but the idea of him leaving anytime soon for UGA is laughable.
It's laughable because he's not qualified.
If by some miracle he proved himself qualified, it's as realistic as was Kiffin going to USC, only Dooley's ties to the Dawgs are even stronger.
It's one thing to be deny this with one coach and get burned, but it's completely foolish to do it twice. If he really is that good, he'll get the offer and it will be tempting.
Again, I don't think he's good enough for it to be a problem for us.
The more likely scenario is that CDD and his staff are good enough to keep their jobs and extend an era of mediocrity beyond three years (e.g. 5-7 this season, 7-5 next year, 8-4 after that, then about three years of 8 or 9 wins with one say 6 win season mixed in). That's about six years of probable mediocrity.
I posted this issue long ago (extended mediocrity versus quick turnover of the new staff), and now that I've seen the blind faith here, the concern has been validated.
