Few years ago the guy in charge of the poll...i forget who, maybe the DFO mentioned...came to spurrier and told him that he had to stop doing the one vote for duke each season or there'd be some sort of punishment or something.

Spurrier hasn't done the for like 2 or 3 years now

an unranked team beating a 1 wouldnt jump them immediately into the top ten - especially that early in the season with so many top ten and 20 teams unbeaten, but it would automatically get them ranked...possibly somewhere in the teens

It's also possible that it's only one coach who voted for us. Getting 2 votes means there are two possibilities:

1) Two coaches voted us 25th.

2) One coach voted us 24th.

I prefer to celebrate my championships on the beach, then in a hotel room with some ut girls on spring break who will do anything just to "be" with a gator.

Kentucky (note: UT has no current player that was alive when UK last beat UT)
4 different Carolinas (North, South, East, NC State)
Colorado (combined record last 3 years: 13-24)
Southern Miss
every team in ACC's Atlantic Division (Clemson, Fl. St., BC, NC State, Wake, Maryland)
9 other SEC teams

Depressing, no?

And the Vols will continue to be disregarded until proof of respect is provided.
