I know we got some people deeply interested in politics here so I figured I'd offer to throw these out there;
The American Republic
United States Government Simulation (Powered by Invision Power Board)
I've been simming for awhile (nerdy, I know) and have always enjoyed role playing out the inner workings of the US government. On both you get to write and debate bills, release press statements, host political events, run for higher office, etc.
The American Republic sim you start directly out as a US Senator and is the smaller one of the two membership wise. It is pretty fun to play and easier to start out on and get accustomed too. This is the one I've played a majority of on.
On the USGovSim board, you start off a a Congressman and must run for election as Senator. This one is extremely large and active and I've had trouble adjusting to it in the past but might pick it up again soon. On this one in particular is a lot more in depth. You get to run for Governors as well.
Since it is election time I figured people would might be interested in trying something new. If anyone has any questions or comments I'll try and answer them as best as possible. Hopefully we can snag a couple of potential recruits :good!:
