I can honestly say there is one thing Florida Coach Urban Meyer can learn from Tennessee Coach Lane Kiffin. It involves character. I’m not sure who was watching the Gator/Bama game last night, but did you see who threw their headset when Tebow threw the interception in the end zone. You guessed it, Coach “Crybaby, what have you done for me lately, Meyer”? It’s a shame a quarterback who was instrumental in leading his team to two national championships will unavoidably witness this Meyer meltdown tirade on ESPN eventually if not already. All those Tim Tebow/Urban Meyer warm huggy embraces certainly take a back seat to Meyer’s unexplainable reaction IMO. No respect at all for him now. Go back and look how Fulmer use to grimace, now Meyer fly’s off the handle and Lane Kiffin just stands their basically stoic, considering all the crap he put up with this year on the field especially early. I’m glad he’s here!

I never had any respect for him. Florida losses alot this year. We shall see how he reacts next year when he possibly could lose 3 or more games.

I listened to a portion of Meyer's post-game comments (not all, so I coulda missed it), but I didn't hear anything remotely resembling that they were beat by a better team, that he got outcoached, etc. It was all excuses.

I expect to more of Urban's true character (or lack of) beginning next season. I think the sideline display is only a glimpse.

And..........Coach Kiffin said that Alabama had superior coaching to FL and the media magpies immediately started dissing CLK for taking shots at CUM? It seems the truth really hurts.

For sure. Meyer will fail after Tebow. He is a good recruiter and has a pretty good staff but Tebow is a player that only comes around once every 50 years. Even taking off my orange glasses, I, and anyone, can see that Alabama is superior in coaching to Florida by long shot. Kiffin was right on the money. And you could say Tennessee is as well. Nobody gave UT a chance to compete against UF on the road and we did. Nobody gave us a chance agaisnst Bama on the road, and the only reason we lost is our own fault and lack of talent. (thanks Lincoln...again).

I hate to mention it but Spurrier owned Fulmer for most of the 90's and its looking like Kiffin will take a Spurrier type role in the near future. Meyer will either be Kiffin's b!tch the next little while or jump to ND or another program very soon to save his ego. My bet is he leaves before that happens.

I hate Alabama, but I give respect where respect is due...they are the best team, and best coached team in the SEC without a doubt; and they deserved everything they got last night. We will see the spread fail in the SEC very soon and NFL staffs will prove why that crap doesn't work long term in the big leagues. Same reason why Tebow will be a second round pick and an NFL bust, just like all the other UF QB's. Manning is laughing at them now. I'm confident Meyer will soon have his ego humbled, and that will be "iconic." I can't wait...GBO

Football is an emotional game. Passionate coaches react to whats happening on the field. I've watched many coaches do the same thing. I can't fault the guy for doing that, he wants to win. As far as CLK, I'm glad Lane's here too.

In the game Saturday I don't think there was any question about who was the better coach. Lane was right on that one.

I think yer reaching a bit to call it a meltdown. This one has hater written all over it. If you truly did watch the game, you could see that he wanted to launch the headset, but thought about it and then just gave it a toss. I don't see any problem with that. Coaches do it all the time. I hate the Gators, but this one is quite a reach in my eyes.

Might as well get used to him throwing temper tantrums on the sidelines. He has a pro style QB to run that gimmicky crap next year. I can't wait to see him cry like a baby, that is if he sticks around.

Man is it gonna be sweet or what! Back to the day of ole, Bama on top out west with a "old school" type of play rarely seen anymore out of offenses on top along with UT BABY doin the same. I can't wait for many a year of us facing them in the SEC Title game with 2 real football styles goin at it........O JAH! Theres a new KING in the East guys, and Lane looks good in a CROWN!

After watching the game yesterday, I am convinced Meyer and Tebow are like a volitile married couple. When the going is good, they are all hugging and nozzling each other LITERALLY. When the times are bad, Meyer is the abusive husband cursing, peaed off and throwing things with Tebow is the submissive, broken wife sitting there just crying.

Too bad both teams couldn't lose. However, I had great enjoyment in seeing fl lose and tebow crying on the sideline. Dem gatas still haven't gone undefeated!

Without Tebow, florida goes down big next year, and Kiffin takes over the SEC East! Look for a UT beatdown of UT on September 18, 2010!! I've already got that date circled on my calendar. UT & Kiffin: the new sheriff in the SEC east!!!

They took his tears to Grady and healed the whole cancer ward... it was amazing!

Meyer is a narcissist. He does what narcissists do... It is a compulsive behavior.

Alot of coaches throw head sets and such... I got more out of watching his expressions and body language.

I can't figure out where the Florida running game has gone? They absolutely have not had one all year and somehow managed to go undefeated until last night.
The Brantley kid has a great arm, but without a running game he will be blitzed and injured before half the season is over. If we have a decent QB play from Stephens or whoever we should win this game.
