They probably watched Tennessee fold up like a cheap umbrella during the second half last week

I mean honestly this wont happen...think of last year when we were supposed to get destroyed...this is from a gator fan-I'm going with 42-10 ... Gators win. I think our defense will dominate this game, and in fact score two touchdowns

I'm confused. Are you for UT or Fl?!

Dang, when the mods get rid of a troll they get rid of a troll. They even got rid of my post when I responded to the troll. I like it!

I think that it will be tougher than people think because its Brantleys first road trip at a place that is going to have a crazy crowd...I think our O-line will show up again and help Poole out big time

That's some KGB stuff right there. Don't ask too many questions or they may make you disappear as well.

I really don't understand the rank pessimism on this board about the Florida game. Did anyone watch their first two games against two teams that are vastly inferior to ours?

I'm not saying that we'll win, but I'm saying we aren't gonna get blown out. We gave up against Oregon, but I don't see us giving up against Florida, namely, because I don't think Florida's offense is going to score on us and move the ball like Oregon did.

Florida's offense seems suspect at best this year. The have very little vertical passing game, lost arguably their best receiver in Rainey, and their rushing offense has been rather contained by much weaker defenses than ours.

I can see us slowing down Florida's offense. What worries me is our offense against Florida's D. If Simms can't keep the defense honest, I worry about our running game. However, I think we are actually better than UF at the skill positions on offense EXCEPT for QB, but even Brantley has been a question mark. We are severely out-talented on defense, however--especially on the D-line.

I expect this one to be close for a while, maybe til the the start of the 4th, and then Florida's depth and experience, especially in the trenches, helps them grind out a tough win in Neyland. BUT, if we can come out, hit them in the mouth early, and contain Demps, I think we have to opportunity to harass Brantley and make the necessary plays to pull the upest.

Week 3 Upset Watch

Why is everyone on here so sure Florida is going to beat us Saturday?? Has anyone watched them play?!! I think Saturday is the best chance we will have had to beat Florida in the past 5 years.

Did you watch US play Saturday? We quit. We've quit in the past against Florida too. In fact the Oregon game resembled many Florida games in the past 18 years of the series. Not to mention I wish I had a dollar for every year Florida looked beatable against their opening opponents, who were weaker, and everyone thought it meant UT was going to win. How'd that usually turn out?

They were inferior to Oregon, yes, but I'd argue USF is probably is at least as good as us right now.

I did watch us play on Saturday, which is why I think we can beat Florida. Yeah we quit. Noone questions that. I can only hope that as a young team we grew from it. I have no doubt Dooley has driven the "you quit" point home this week. The better question is will we quit against Florida?? Only time will answer that, but i think we have the talent to win.. and we're at home. Brantley has never played in front of 102,000 hostile fans.

I think we will see a team that more mentally tough this week, and I'm excited to see what our defense can do to this Florida team.

Tennessee will compete with Florida.

For a half. Then, everything goes to hell at that point.

There's no way I believe that level of quit was driven out in the span of 7 days; it's going to take a half a season at least. And talent yes, but I don't think we have the depth to win. Plus being at home has been meaningless in this series.
