This is simply a case of one program overachieving and one program underachieving. Vanderbilt hasn't accomplished any more than we have with a significantly easier schedule. Vandy's 2 SEC wins were home games against Kentucky and Ole Miss, which we would have won as well. Had Vandy played our schedule they would be at best 4-6.

No doubt and it's gonna be tough with or without Bray. The mobility of their QB makes it hard to get them off the field and their defense has held their own against the leagues best offenses. This game is going to have a big impact on the program, win or lose.

Look at it this way, we have nowhere to go but up from here. We're going to improve, and will again be a contender in the SEC (and nationally) within a few years. Even if it takes more than a few years, I'll keep wearing my orange, I'll keep the Power T's on all manner of things and will be a proud Volunteer (UTK class of '96).

What is your defintion of a FEW years?

Fulmer leaving = -1 year
Kiffen leaving = -2 more years
Dooley transition = -1 year

Give him 4 years to put his own players in and implement his staff.

Anyone that thinks he can build a team in less than 4 years is an idiot.
