Your right. Taylor has played great this year. A pleasant surprise, indeed. Everyone one knew the Vols needed a WR to step up this year and Lucas accepted the challenge. I wish another WR would step up as well to go along with Taylor and Brown at TE. Briscoe has been better as of late. Rogers is just plain killing me.

1. Daniel Lincoln...... UT FR 6 24-24 12-13 60 10.0

He was about a foot away from being perfect, too. To me, this is the biggest surprise on the team

I NEED to see Moore to start get more PT than Rogers.. i cant stand to see Rogers even on the field any more!

Why? Rogers is the 10th ranked receiver in the league.

He dropped a lot at the beginning of the year, but he's turning himself into a sure-handed possession receiver. He played quite well against MSU and Georgia.

Except for two drops against MSU - one being the most wide open TD pass I've ever witnessed. The other one was tough but still should have been caught. I really thought he got over it after the Georgia game but I guess not.

He shoulda had that one...but it was the hardest thrown ball I think I've seen all year. No excuse for a div-I receiver, but I can see why it's a hard catch.

Ainge did zip that ball but it was so pretty. No excuse to drop that one

Considering our OL's dominate pass blocking and their improving run blocking, I wouldn't be a surprised to see one of our hogs make All-SEC.

Foster's stats look good. He is showing up and will only get better. Taylor has played great but will never pass Bennett or Harvin for all-SEC because of preseason hype.

I have been frustrated by Rogers drops but he is still one of my favorite players. White lightning. He is only a Soph. and will turn into a big time receiver. He will become a deep threat also eventually. He has the speed.

Lincoln has been great and has a very bright future.

Previous week's rankings in parentheses:

Rushing Offense: #62 (#67)
Passing Offense: #25 (#29)
Total Offense: #37 (#46)
Scoring Offense: #31 (#27)

Looking better overall. The 4 spot drop in scoring resulted from the average dropping only .27ppg

Rushing Defense: #66 (#76)
Passing Defense: #64 (#72)
Total Defense: #65 (#75)
Scoring Defense: #85 (#98)

More improvement from the D. Love to see it skyrocket after the bammer game!

Punt returns: #89 (#116)
KO returns: #29 (#20)

KO returns looking good overall still, minus the muffed KO. Good day returning punts, could have been even more without the block in the back on Hef's big return.

Sacks: T-#96 (#T-#91)
TFL: #116 (#115)

Line looking better at the LOS, but still can't get the tackles in the backfield.

Punt return defense: #117 (#117)
KO return defense: #44 (#74)

KO return D making great strides since Britton took over duties. Punt return D separated from last place Memphis by 1.2 ypr

We spread the ball around more than anybody else does if you look at those stats.

Thats a good start but here comes a couple teams that play Defense. So we gotta keep getting better. They're gonna attack Vinson this week with play action so our D-Line is gonna have to grow up this weekend

Fulmer has had success in the head to head match up with Saban.

Greg Hardy sophomore did we recruit him?

We dont do too much tackling here at Tennessee

Who would have thought coming into this season that Lucas Taylor would be on pace to match or better Meachem's yardage and reception numbers from last year......Crazy
