Couple other that jumped out to me:

Tino Thomas: 6'0 199. Nice size for a CB. Didn't realize he was that big.

Jordan Williams: 6'5" 255. No idea he was that tall. He's got 3 inches and 13 pounds on J Smith.

Greg Clark: 6'2" 323. Knew he was playing nose, but didn't he come in at something like 280? Must have been beasting it in the weight room.

Sad, but this roster has been the high point of my day. Can't wait for August.

I think the only people who ever know the actual height and weight of college football players are the players, coaches, families and doctors.

This is one case where the eye test is about the most accurate thing you can get. If they come out on the field and dwarf NC State, then we'll know things are going well.

Noticed J Meredith at 6'5 216. Hope Rivera and Downs stay healthy. JM needs a redshirt.

Also JaWaun James 6'6 320, Zach Fulton 6'5 324 and Tiny Richardson 6'6 329. Are JJ and ZF really that tall? Seems like Tiny was a bit taller in pics iirc

Besides being the top JUCO wide receiver C Patterson was also a RB and had over 600 y rushing I believe...He could be a good option. But Hill and Smith are the tough runners, big backs for the short yardage situations.

You got options like: 1-10 Lane or Borque, 1-15 or 3 and long Neal or Patterson, 2-5 Young, 3-short Hill or Smith, Peterman in the WildRockyTop formation and Tiny leading Lane on goal line run.

i know most people want croom at wr not TE but hes the same height, 16 pounds heavier and probably a good bit faster than meredith. just makes sense for him to be a TE in my eyes at least. especially if pig, bowles and blanc all pan out. would seem that we would need him more there. could you imagine that? think about hunter and patterson out wide, rogers in the slot, croom as the TE and howard/neal or young in the backfield for a swing pass. just try and cover that.

Just wait until they practice in that August heat for a couple of weeks! That extra weight will melt off!

I see that Jaques Smith has slimmed down a little. I suppose they want him lighter/quicker playing in LB position.

I'm not sure that they're done updating the roster. I clicked on Meredith and although the roster said 216, his profile showed 223. I think there's more to come!

They aren't updating the roster; they're updating the profile pages! Tiny is even less tiny! His new listed weight is 332! Lathers is up to 230! Check out the profile pages for the new weights!:)

Anyone know anything about RS SO RB Deanthonie Summerhill?

He was 1st Team All-State in Alabama as a Sr., and 2nd team as a Jr.

Can't find anything on ESPN about his recruitment in 2010.
