I thought I read that AJ Johnson was getting a bump to 4 from Scout.

You did it was in the recruiting thread on scouts main board. It said he, and listed a few other guys would get a good bump int the new rankings. It said that they were coming out today. However, now there is a article on scouts that says the new rankings will come out next week.

Chad Simmons said that on Scout. So you know it will happen.

No, but it will raise the overall perception of the program and in the future helps us get better recruits.

No I believe you're thinking of something else. It's wins that raise the overall perception of the program and in the future helps us get better recruits.

"Will a bump change how they play?"

Hmmmm...This brings up an interesting question....forget the chicken & the egg argument, lets explore this age old quandry ......Just which one did come first the 5 star recruit or the win?

Program wins would be considered reality....perception has several factors and scottyhop pointed out one of them.

When thinking about a "system QB", think about the last few QB's that Texas Tech has produced. They threw for a ton of yards and TD's but none has been a successful NFL QB.

Keep ignoring facts

Facts or possibilities?

Possibilities of them being bumped by analysts. Nothing more.

The only one you mention that anyone said WILL is Randolph.

So until you post actual facts and not hearsay, I will take a look.

I dont take any stock in them saying someone might because they could say that about everyone.

Right. they do great in college, where the system takes advantage of their strengths. but those "systems" don't seem to work in the pro's, so neither do the players. Worley will be a good college qb.

What I posted were all facts...it is fact that those analyst said those things about those players...so those of us "holding our breath" are doing so based on more fact than you who just has a feeling that none of those players will get bumped

If you aren't getting top-notch recruits, the wins will never come in this conference.
