Don't know if anyone saw this, merge if needed. I thought it was interesting; some of the players are really bulking up.

Arthur Jeffery 6-3 305
Joseph Ayres 6-3 280
Corey Miller 6-3 265
Austin Johnson 6-2 240

It looks that overall the whole team is putting some decent weight on.

It would also be a lot more helpful to list weights from last year for comparison sake. Just sayin'.

So you're saying he played DT for us last year at 240??

Exactly. No way he was 240. So much for the poster who said Bray weighed in the 190's. There was no way that was true.Hopefully he can get to 215 by the first game.

I wonder how much they really exaggerate on these weights. It wasn't too long ago when Hunter tweeted that he was up to 191

Channing Fugate is listed at 6'1", 250 lbs. Wow. 250? That's a FULLback. Martaze Jackson is listed as a DL at 240 for comparison.

I read on another site that Tyler Bray was actually 220 lbs now.

My nephew is 220..but he's only 5'3"...it's all about perspective.

Doesn't matter if he's 200 or 220...as long he's a mental heavy weight (unlike Cromptona dn Simms) and can read teh prgressions correctly and knows to read the stack on the defense he'll be just fine. :eek:k:

We know these weights are too high and Daryl Vereen is still just 215?

It's scary to think of how small our starting LBs could be.

Keith Davis (running back frmo Overton in the mid 80s) was 6'1 when he signed with Tennessee. When he left, he was 5'9.

in the media guides, his height went down a little every year he was in Knoxville.

Guys that are over weight, they list with less weight. Guys that are under weight, they list heavier. Its really funny to see them lvie.

I was at a spring practice over a year ago and Walls was trying to play DT but looked the size of a "small" linebacker. He is short and at that time, not very heavy at all. Doubt he is much heavier now. He got steamrolled on a sweep.

If they are accurate, I am loving the weight of Darick and Hunter this year. 6'3 215 and 6'4 200 is a load for any defensive backfield to handle if used properly.
